Jeff Waters Assumes Chairmanship of ACCNJ, Leading New Jersey’s Construction Sector

HAMILTON, New Jersey — Jeff Waters, President of Waters & Bugbee, has been elected Chairman of the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey (ACCNJ). The announcement came at the ACCNJ December meeting.

The ACCNJ is the only full-service trade association representing the state’s entire building, highway and utility construction industry.

With a proven track record leading Hamilton-based Waters & Bugbee, Waters brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight to his ACCNJ Chairmanship, which has a two-year term. Under his leadership, Waters & Bugbee has established itself as a trusted name in utility contracting, renowned for its commitment to excellence and timely project delivery.

Waters & Bugbee also is widely recognized as a family-first company that is deeply committed to safety and training.

“I consider it an honor and a pleasure to serve as the Chairman of A.C.C.N.J. for the next two years, as this Association serves the entire construction industry of New Jersey,” Waters said. “By having an active role you help create better construction practices, procedures and policies that help make New Jersey a better place to live, vacation, work and travel through.”

Waters also currently serves as Co-Chair of the New Jersey Laborers-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust (NJ LECET), where he advocates for the interests of both labor and management in the construction sector. Additionally, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Alliance for Action NJ, a prominent advocacy group focused on advancing infrastructure development in the state. Furthermore, Waters serves as a Trustee of the Heavy & General Laborers’ Welfare Fund of New Jersey, demonstrating his dedication to the welfare of industry workers.

As Chairman of ACCNJ, Waters is poised to leverage his expertise to address key challenges facing the construction industry and champion initiatives aimed at driving growth and sustainability. His appointment signals a new era of leadership for ACCNJ and reinforces Waters’ commitment to shaping the future of New Jersey’s construction sector.

• Vice Chairman: Paul Natoli of Joseph A. Natoli Construction Corp., Pine Brook.

• Treasurer: Tom Tuozzolo, Keller, Rockaway.

• Secretary: Clifford Blanchard, Wm. Blanchard Co., Springfield.
